Welcome Home Service
The nicest journey is the one that ends somewhere ready for you. After travelling, there is something wonderfully familiar about opening your own front door. But returning after a holiday, business trip, or extended period away can also mean walking straight back into your household responsibilities.
Our Welcome Home Service is designed to make that first experience of coming home altogether different. Before you leave, or while you are away, we agree what you would like prepared for your return and when you expect to arrive. KTS can then attend the property shortly beforehand and help bring your home back to life. After being unoccupied, a house can sometimes feel closed, still, or simply not quite ready to settle back in. Depending on your requirements and what is appropriate for the property, agreed rooms can be refreshed and prepared so that the spaces you will want to use first are ready when you walk through the door. The service is intentionally flexible because everybody has a different idea of what makes coming home comfortable. For one client, the priority may simply be walking into a fresh, orderly home after a fortnight away. For another, particularly someone who travels frequently for work or spends extended periods abroad, there may be a familiar homecoming routine they would like KTS to follow each time. We can establish those prefrences with you so that future visits become increasingly straightforward.
The Welcome Home Service is also useful for families returning from holiday. Instead of arriving late in the day with children, luggage and everything that comes with travelling and then discovering household jobs waiting, you can return knowing the home itself has already received attention.
This service is about your arrival, which is what separates it from our other KTS services. It is not about carrying out every possible task while you are away. It is about asking one simple question: What would make walking through your front door feel wonderful? We prepare around the answer. Then all that’s left for you to do is arrive, put down your bags and enjoy being home.
