There are times when what your home needs simply cannot be fitted into a regular cleaning appointment.
Perhaps there are household tasks you have been meaning to address, spaces that need reorganising, a particular room that deserves more focused attention, or simply a collection of things that have gradually built up while life has been busy. Individually, they may seem like small jobs. Together, they can take a surprising amount of your time – and they are often the very things that keep being put off until another day.
Our Private Housekeeping Day gives you dedicated KTS time to focus on those priorities properly. Rather than following a routine of a standard cleaning visit, the day is planned around what you would most like to achieve in your home.
Before your appointment, we discuss your priorities and agree on a realistic plan for the time available. This allows us to concentrate our attention where it will make the greatest difference to you, rather than working from a predetermined checklist.
The day might be focused primarily on one area of your home, or it could involve working through several completely different household tasks. You may have cupboards or storage areas that need bringing back into order, a room that has been difficult to manage, household items that need reorganising, or a collection of practical jobs you simply haven’t had the time to tackle. The purpose isn’t for KTS to arrive with our own idea of how your home should look or how your belongings should be organised.
Your home, your belongings and your preference remain at the centre of the service.
This is also not a professional decluttering service where somebody decides what you should keep or throw away. Decisions involving personal possessions always remains yours. Our role is to provide the practical time, support and methodical approach needed to help you achieve what you have been meaning to do.
A Private Housekeeping Day can be particular helpful after an exceptionally busy period, before or after travelling, when work or family commitments have taken priority, following changes within the household, or simply when you reach the point where you would love to get everything back on track.
You may choose to be at home and work alongside us where decisions are required, or, where appropriate, agree your priorities beforehand and leave KTS to take care of them.
The service is intentionally flexible because no two homes – and no two housekeeping days – will ever be exactly the same. There is no standard list of jobs to choose from.
